The Flexible Packaging Association’s 2012 Annual Meeting will be held February 22-24, 2012 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, Arizona.

		Dr. Steve Levitt, co-author of FREAKONOMICS, will provide the keynote address during the 2012 Annual Meeting Networking Luncheon on Friday, February 24, 2012. Dr. Levitt will discuss his FREAKONOMICS approach and how combining data, economic theory, and unorthodox thinking can assist flexible packaging companies shine and excel in an unstable market.

		The meeting will also feature speaker Zanny Minton-Beddoes, economics editor forThe Economist. During her address, Ms. Minton-Beddoes will discuss A Long Shadow: The World Economy after the Financial Crisis and provide her perspective on the global economy as it emerges from the deepest recession since the 1930s.

Educational sessions will focus on key topics and issues of importance to the flexible packaging industry including Growth Opportunities for U.S. Flexible Packaging, Delivering Value Across the Value Chain, Flexible Packaging Materials: Cost and Availability, and the State of the Flexible Packaging Industry Report.
