FPA Releases 2005 Compensation Report
The recently published 2005 FPA Converter Compensation Report provides data on wage and benefits for both hourly and salaried employees in the flexible packaging industry. The information compiled in the report is gathered through the corresponding Compensation Survey, in which 27 FPA converter members participated.
Information in the report details average salary levels by company/plant size, region and primary manufacturing operations, benefits offered to hourly and salaried flexible packaging employees including medical and prescription drug plans, life insurance, jury duty, short and long-term disability, pension plans, health benefit premiums, and the number of vacation days, sick days and holidays offered by flexible packaging converter companies.
Also profiled are the compensation practices for sales representatives, the structure of sales management and compensation practices including salary adjustments, merit increases and range structures.
