The objectives and scope of this report include:

• Developing an understanding of the state of the Sustainable Packaging Movement, including a perspective on the Sustainable Packaging Coalition’s Design Manual,
  Wal-Mart’s Scorecard, and other related initiatives

• Compiling definitions and terminology related to Sustainable Packaging

• Providing an assessment of when, where, and how Sustainable Packaging will impact flexible packaging including details on Wal-Mart’s schedule

• Providing an analysis of the Wal-Mart Scorecards including development of a practical primer for FPA members and providing insight and directions for understanding and using the Scorecards

• Conducting a top-line survey of select Consumer Product Goods Companies (CPG) on Sustainable Packaging expectations and needs from packaging suppliers
