Official Call for Entries Available For
2001 Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards

Linthicum, MD, September 18, 2001 - The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) is pleased to announce that the official Call for Entries for the 2001 Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards is available both in print and online. The deadline for entries is November 21, 2001, and the competition is open to all flexible packaging converters. Additionally, any flexible package or flexible components of a rigid package produced and sold in the market within 18 months prior to the November entry deadline may be entered.
Since 1956 the Flexible Packaging Association has honored outstanding achievement by flexible packaging converters. Formerly known as the Top Packaging Awards, the Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards honor packaging and converting excellence in the retail, institutional and industrial sectors. The competition recognizes technical innovation, environmental achievement, and printing achievement as well as overall packaging excellence.
The Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards have become the most prestigious in the industry, garnering unprecedented coverage in the American and European trade press. The Flexible Packaging Association will honor the 2001 winners during a special ceremony in March, 2002 in Mission Hills, California and during Interpack 2002 in Dusseldorf, Germany in April.
