FPA To Hold CMM Conference on "Extending Shelf Life Through Advances in Flexible Packaging"

Linthicum, MD, November 15, 2002 - The Flexible Packaging Association will host a seminar titled "Extending Shelf Life Through Advances in Flexible Packaging" at CMM International in Chicago's McCormick Place on Tuesday, April 15, 2003 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
Featuring six presenters and a panel discussion, the seminar will address the technological innovations incorporated in flexible packaging materials which have made it possible to extend shelf life while retaining product nutrients, flavor, freshness and safety.
Specifically, the session will examine the film, adhesive, coating, resin and ink technologies as well as the package constructions that are being developed to enhance flexible packaging's effectiveness, regulatory acceptance and cost benefits. Flexible Packaging magazine's editor-in-chief Andrew Mykytiuk will moderate the session.
This session will benefit those involved in the specification or purchase of equipment, materials, or supplies.
