The Flexible Packaging Association's Safety Committee concentrates on the sharing of best practices to improve safety within our member companies. The committee also works cooperatively with OSHA to ensure that flexible packaging safety rules come at a minimum cost to the industry.

FPA hosts semiannual safety meetings where FPA members and OSHA officials have an opportunity to discuss safety compliance issues.

The association also conducts an annual industry-specific Converter Safety Survey and distributes the Converter Safety Report to all survey participants. This publication tracks incidence rates, severity rates and types of injuries in the flexible packaging industry, helping members benchmark their companies' safety performance.
