Amcor Strengthens UK Plastic Packaging Tax Readiness With RecyClass Certification

Amcor, a global leader in developing and producing responsible packaging solutions, has achieved RecyClass Recycled Plastics Traceability Certification (EN15343) for selected specifications of its Bontite® Sustane stretch film. These films contain defined levels of post‑consumer recycled (PCR) content and support customers preparing for upcoming changes to the UK Plastics Packaging Tax (PPT) in 2027. Manufactured at Amcor’s sites in Leominster, United Kingdom and Zele, Belgium, Bontite® is a range of blown LLDPE stretch wrap films designed to secure and stabilize palletized goods during transit. The films combine the toughness of blown film with the clarity associated with cast film and can deliver high holding force, puncture resistance and significant stretch performance depending on specification and application. When paired with Amcor’s technical support, customers can optimize wrapping performance, use less film, improve load stability and potentially reduce total cost of ownership.
