General News, Industry News,

Balcan Innovations announced the commissioning of their new Bandera AgriFuture extrusion line at their Pleasant Prairie, WI facility, significantly expanding North American manufacturing capacity for industrial shrink films and tarps. The 5-layer wide web line will enable Balcan Innovations to produce sheeting up to 50 feet wide, delivering among the largest film formats available in the industrial packaging industry. The Bandera equipment introduces advanced capabilities that also strengthen the company’s ability to incorporate flame-retardant and UV stabilizers seamlessly, as well as post-consumer recycled (PCR) resins, with tight process controls. “Our boat wrap and shrink tarps have long been recognized in the Building & Construction and Boating industries for their consistent quality and performance," stated Derek Lennox, Balcan Innovations’ Chief Commercial Officer. “This investment allows us to build on that success, further solidifying what’s already widely regarded as an industry-leading solution.”
