Flint Group Packaging Solutions will increase prices across its packaging inks and coatings portfolio in the USA and Canada, effective December 14, 2026. The adjustment reflects sustained cost pressures during the second half of 2026. Energy and ocean freight costs remain high, while pigment costs have increased significantly as Chinese safety initiatives drive capacity shortages for raw materials in Asia, particularly China. High crude oil prices are severely driving up the cost of essential petrochemical precursors, including solvents, resins, additives, and other related materials. Together, these pressures have increased the cost of manufacturing and supplying inks and coatings.
