Foxpak Flexibles Back in Independent Irish Ownership

Irish entrepreneur Mick Heavey has completed the purchase of Foxpak Flexibles, the Louth, Ireland-based flexible packaging manufacturer for food and nutrition brands, from US-headquartered Sealed Air on October 1, 2026. The business is back in independent Irish ownership, with all 19 jobs at its Collon plant secured. Earlier this year, Foxpak's future was uncertain, as its previous owner had decided to close the Collon site. General manager Colin Byrne refused to let it go and contacted Heavey, who was walking around the plant within two hours of receiving his email. About 90 days later, the deal was done, and Foxpak Flexibles were back in business.
