Goglio Acquires Cristal Embalagens, Strengthening Its Position in South America

Goglio, an internationally recognized leader in flexible packaging, has announced the acquisition, through its Brazilian subsidiary Mega Goglio, of 100% of Cristal Embalagens, a company specializing in flexible packaging production based in Morro da Fumaça, in the state of Santa Catarina (Brazil). Founded in 1999, Cristal Embalagens specializes in developing and manufacturing flexible packaging for numerous sectors, including cereals, pet food, baked goods, and personal hygiene and personal care products. Goglio notes that Cristal Embalagens has more than 27 years of activity and operates a plant with 20,700 square meters of built surface area on a total site of 254,000 square meters. “The deal will generate significant synergies through the integration of expertise and the strengthening of production capacity,” Goglio says.
