Helping You Succeed

The Flexible Packaging Association is the leading trade association for one of the fastest-growing segments in the packaging industry. Our members are converters of flexible packaging and suppliers to the industry. FPA provides a wealth of information to its members through focused programs and services.

The Flexible Packaging Association

Membership in FPA is open to manufacturers of flexible packaging (converter members) and manufacturers of material, equipment, or supplies related to the flexible packaging industry (associate members), as well as others (i.e., academic institutions, brand owners, industry vendors, etc.).

  • Promotes the benefits, contributions, and advantages of flexible packaging through its extensive network, and it advances the industry's products through domestic and international publications and presentations. FPA celebrates the innovation and success of the flexible packaging industry by representing the industry at trade shows and events and by recognizing packaging innovation through its internationally known Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards program.

  • Provides protection to the flexible packaging industry through an integrated and proactive advocacy campaign that advances the industry through representation to various government and regulatory agencies and employs a coordinated strategic engagement and market outreach program.

  • Delivers fact-based, business-building, and reliable information and educational forums through the collection, analysis, and publication of its high-quality and timely industry benchmarking financial and economic data.

  • Improves public understanding of the industry through its continued research and ground-breaking studies. FPA is currently leading an industry effort to better understand all aspects of packaging sustainability, end-of-packaging-life programs, and resource recovery alternatives.

  • Connects members of the industry through a variety of events throughout the year that focus on educational and networking opportunities, including FPA's Annual Meeting and the FlexForward® Conference.
